Experience a moving Masterworks finale presented in partnership with Violins of Hope. Bach’s beautiful Concerto for Two Violins features Concertmaster Naha Greenholtz and members of the orchestra performing on historic violins that were saved from The Holocaust, symbols of resilience, hope, and remembrance.

December’s Selection — Nicholas Winton’s Lottery of Life by Matej Mináč tells the remarkable story of Sir Nicholas Winton, a symbol of human solidarity, self‑sacrifice, and courage, whose actions affirm that even in moments of absolute hopelessness it is possible to do good. The author, Matej Mináč, a Slovak film director trained at the Academy of Musical Arts in Bratislava, has created documentaries, feature films such as Sitting on a Branch and Enjoying Myself and One Day of a Slovak in Paris, as well as the five‑part television series The Magic of Photography.
